I am shocked to recently find out that my friend's daughter went to her local youth outreach centre, where she was pressurised into having the HPV vaccination onsite. She told them her mother did not agree with it, and they said "dont worry she need not know" She was also given Evra transdermal contraceptive patches. She is 14 Years old and not sexually active! What has happened to parental consent??? what about the medical implications if a child is suddenly ill and the parent has no explanation for it? There must be some safeguards against government institutions peddling out their pharmaceutical poisons!
