This weeks guest on Disability Forum Life Fm 93.1 on Wednesday after 9am GMT with Eric & Mary also online at www.lifefm.ie is Deborah Heather whose son Andrew was 18 months of age when she realised that there was something seriously wrong with him. Initially she believed that he was possibly deaf. After a barrage of tests and appointments and a long 18 months later Andrew was diagnosed with Autism.
Silenced Witnesses 1 and 2: The books primarily discuss vaccine damage and allows parents of Autistic children to tell their stories of their lives as parents. They describe the journeys, be they medical, educational and the day to day life of living with Autism.
Deborah wrote a chapter in the second book concerning her son's medical journey.
Deborah discusses the reasons behind the books being written and gives encouragement to other parents who are living with Autism. It's designed to let them know that although they may feel alone, they certainly are not alone!
