Hi,

I haven't been on here for a long time but thought it might be of interest for people on here to know that my 22 yr old daughter has just been diagnosed with MS.
I am doing lots of research for her with the help of good forums and a chemist friend.
We think that the contraceptive pill/injections may have contributed to this. Her immune system has never been good (chronic ear infections from baby to late teens) She also has quite bad IBS.
One thing I have found is that MS can be misdiagnosed as other diseases can mimic MS such as Lyme or Chlamydia Pulmoniae.
There is a dr called Dr Wheldon who treated his own wife for CP with antibiotics. He was a microbiologist from the JR Hospital.
My own feeling is that she was mercury toxic since I was dental nursing during my pregnancy with her (though she has no amalgam) but also that she has candida (now on diet to help this with probiotics etc) but that her hormonal contraceptive have caused havoc with her health.
She did have all the usual vaccines including DTP a few yrs ago.
She is a welfare technician for Guide dogs puppies.
I would be glad of comments and advice please.
Best wishes to all.
Adrienne.
